BEN Cios celebrates his 200th game for his beloved Eagles this Saturday.

He played his first senior game with the then Mansfield Demons in 1996.

"I have no idea against who," he said.

Cios played for Mansfield in mini-midgets (was there ever anything mini about him?), then midgets, under 12, under 14 and under 17 before his senior career.

The highlight of his career was the 1997 reserves grade premiership.

"You don’t win them every day," he said.

A total of 200 games is not the end either.

"I’d like to think I had a few more games in me - I’m lucky I’ve had no major injuries," Cios said.

"It is probably the rigorous training that has got me through to 200 - I try and avoid it as much as possible."

Club president, Peter Morgan, said that more than 10 years service to any club in any sport is a fantastic effort of loyalty by a player.

"Ben is more than a player - he is central to the club off the field, as well as on," Mr Morgan said.

"He has always taken on some sort of role, whether team manager or Santa Claus, and there is nothing you could ask him to do that he wouldn’t do."
