AFTER many years Mansfield Swimming Club has finally cracked it.

On an extremely hot day in Seymour on Saturday, members of the club swam their way in to top spot, outswimming Kilmore, Seymour, Yea and Alexandra.

With parents, grandparents and onlookers cheering on, every competitor gave their all.

Due to the shield still being in Kilmore’s care (in storage they said) it was unable to be presented on the day, so watch this space for the obligatory photo next week.

Congratulations to all swimmers and "go Mansfield".

This Saturday is Mansfield’s pennant at home and then back in Seymour on Sunday for the All Juniors, so come along and support your local kids.

Barbecue, raffles and lots of swimming are on the agenda.
