<p>MUNICIPAL inspector, Peter Stephenson, has urged warring parties to "take a deep breath" and get on with business at the Rural City of Wangaratta Council.</p>

<p>BRIGHT sunshine attracted dozens of people to Wangaratta Aero Modellers "Come and have a fly" and information days held at the Wangaratta Saleyards complex on the weekend.</p>

INSPECTING THE SCENE:  Wangaratta detectives inspected the pedestrian walk above the Rowan Street underpass on Monday, where a metal rod was dropped and caused a 4WD towing a caravan to crash on Saturday.
<p>THE Wangaratta pensioner who had a metal rod thrown at his car on the weekend says he lost about $70,000 worth of possessions in the ensuing crash.</p>

<p>A MAGISTRATE has criticised Wangaratta's nightclubs for staying open into the early hours of the morning because it can lead to drunken violence.</p>

<p>WANGARATTA'S public hospital will lose $8.7 million in health funding under planned cuts up until 2016.</p>
